NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort
Full turnkey construction of new overwater villas at NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort, from marine foundations and structure through services, fit-out and finishes to handover, together with renovation of the existing water villas and the resort spa, all within a demanding lagoon environment.
The resort stayed open throughout. Works had to run alongside guests in neighbouring villas and the spa, with materials, plant and crews arriving by sea into a live lagoon.
Noisy works were scheduled into lunch periods when guests were away from the villas, and all other works were carried out inside fully enclosed hoardings and screens. Deliveries and barge movements were timed around resort transfers, with daily coordination between the site team and resort management.
The new water villas were completed as a full turnkey package and are ready for handover, with the existing villas and spa renovated, and the resort continued to operate without guest disruption through the works.
