Alcazar delivered the new overwater villas as a full turnkey package: marine foundations and structure, mechanical and electrical services, fit-out and finishes, through to testing and handover. The scope also included renovation of the resort’s existing water villas and the spa.
The works were carried out in a live lagoon environment with materials and crews moved by sea, and sequenced to limit disruption to resort operations.
The project is Alcazar’s first full turnkey water villa delivery and sets the model for the company’s upcoming resort contracts in Ari Atoll and Gaafu Alif.
